The Circle of Courage impacted me because as a future educator this model will be helpful for me to set a foundation when working with children of diverse backgrounds. As a future educator, it is in my hands to allow every child the opportunity to thrive, and by using this model, I can strive to empower them to be all they can be. When children have these opportunities, they are able to live a well-balanced and passionate life, which is important, because passion helps children and adults to thrive and aim for their best because that is what they want. Educators of the present and future need to understand the Circle of Courage and enforce it in their classrooms. Coming to school for children is often an escape and a place where they feel the safest, and rightfully so. This model helps to reach those “unreachable” children and will allow the students to prosper and be successful.
